Skiing

Skiing allows players to move frictionlessly over surfaces. Its mastery is at the core of succeeding in Legions.

Overdrive

Entering Overdrive allows a player to move at a high speed without the effects of gravity. It can be used for quick, tight maneuvering or for defensive purposes.

Bunny Bombing

This tactic involves outmaneuvering opposing players and attacking them when they are forced to land to conserve jet energy and become easy targets.

Advanced Skills

Rocket Jump

A technique where the player uses the force from a rocket blast fired near their feet to jump high into the air.

Overdriveby

A technique where the player goes into overdrive to overtake and kill a fleeing player.

Classes

Legions2.jpg

There are three different classes of mech suits in Legions, each with their own special abilities.

Outrider

The Outrider is the fastest of the three classes but also the weakest. While agile and capable of overdriving the longest, it does not have as much armor as its counterparts.

The Outrider is not usually the favorite class in a deathmatch. However, some players leverage the class' speed and agility in a hit-and-run strategy.

In a capture the flag setting the Outrider is usually a designated flag capturer. Outriders will also chase enemies who have stolen their team's flag.

Sentinel

The heaviest and sturdiest of the classes. Sentinels also posses the heaviest weapon loadouts, featuring three weapons with a single specialization.

In a deathmatch Sentintels can be a destructive force, punishing opponents with their extensive ordinance and absorbing damage from multiple foes. However, being slow and less mobile, the Sentinel can be easily out-maneuvered.

Sentintels almost exclusively serve as defenders in capture the flag games. They are able to "body block" would be capturers from the flag stand and quickly destroy lighter Outriders.

Raider

The Raider is the most balanced and versatile of the classes. Not possessing the agility of the Outrider nor the armor of the Sentinel, most players will find the Raider is a good class for learning or tailoring to their own style.
